Dearest Love
You are the sweetness of heaven I see in my life right at this moment.
My hands can't wait to caress the colors of your rainbow after nourishing your summer rain showers
Allow me to crave each molecule spent within your company
I seek the innermost part of you no one has ever discovered because you have become my reason
My voice
My thoughts
And my day
I sit and wait for this emotional high to reach you in this letter as my thoughts stay hungry for only you

I looked in the mirror today
And for the first time
I saw you
I thought
How beautiful you were
It caught me by surprise
I was looking at me
And
You were standing there
Staring back at me
But
It was me
I always knew you were beautiful
I brag about it all the time
Even now
You are the most beautiful
Woman I have ever seen
No one can compare
To you
For the first time
I saw you in me
And it made me cry
I now knew
The beauty in me
Came from you
And
I was beautiful too

Most days
I love you simple
Free and easy
A smile
A kiss
That moment
I see that sparkle
In your eyes
When you look at me
I fall in love again
No words to speak
Just the emotions
Communicating through silents
Filling the air with love
Simple love
Easy love
Then it happens
The words and verbs
Start to spill from Our lips
With entangled twist
Adjectives where love is dismissed
Sounds of your nouns make me sick
Love is simple
Haven't you heard
A dance
And song
Make love all night long
Love is simple
Don't read into it
Love is simple
It doesn't need a fix
Love is a morning
I wake up to you
Love is midnight
Full of surprises
No hidden thoughts
Or disguises

Shattered Dreams

My lips drip with clear silence as thunderstorms rage though my emotional destruction
Devouring pieces and morsels of you left behind
I still hunger for this jagged romantic hell
while I chew from the leftover cactus Pricking my wounded heart
I reach for my oasis hoping to wash residue covering my soul you left dry
Once upon a time it was a fairy-tale come true
Lovingly I followed you to the path of meaningless mirages and hopeless wonders
I choke with agonizing thirst from shame as I discovered you didn't love me
Yet
I still loved you
Now, I lay bleeding from the raze of your memory  turning into bitter ashes of my shattered dreams
