National Poetry Month Day 23

National Poetry Month
Day 23

STOP

Stop killing me
Beating my body
Torturous truants
Of super powered hatred
Stop killing my mother
Endless cries for to
Bring me back
Broken
In pieces
Stuff in the cracks
Of
Stop killing my soul
With the story
Never to be told
From my lips
Stop killing me
I want to be free
To live
Like your unborn son
To black skin
I want to breathe the air
Although unfair
I want to live
Stop killing me

Day 22

In my feelings

My words fall
Quiet on my lips
Seemingly even my whispers
Stand still in the moment
Of summer storms
Yet
My heart screams
Beside the oxygen breeze
Touching your purple passion
Yells escape through
The cracks of my broken dream
Yielding before you
Speechless
Yet
I reach for you
Calling
My fingerprint
To speak the love
I pine for across
My crippled tongue
Watching for the signs
To speak the words
You yearn to hear
But my ink is the tattoo
I use to free
My emotional verbiage
I'm in my feelings
About you

Day 21
Surprise

What do I do now
That you have me
Holding me
Touching me
Had me in the rain
Wet
With giggles
Butterflies in the middle
I'm hooked
I'm sprung
You're stand
Next to none
Like a flower
Growing among weeds
You planted the seed
Of mystery in wonder
I feel it down under
The soles of my feet
My mind in the wind
What do I do now
I'm back to the basics
Awake and
Slightly shaken
Arrow shot from cubic
I believe I'm love sick
What do I do

Day 20

Me

I find myself spilling
Me across your lips
Telling you secrets
Drip
After drip
Exposing me
Something I have
No intentions of doing
Giving you my morning thoughts
I don't want to
But
I can't wait to
Tell you about my day
I look for your notes
Holding my breath
Till you speak
So I can breathe again
The excitement
Of just having you near
Allows me to tingle
With delight
This is the best thing
I love about
Believing in you
 With me

Day 19

Private Thoughts

Fingertips moving through your lilac scented hair
Come join me for love if you dare
The moon is smiling
I can taste of your sweet love
In the air

Day 18
Smell the Vision

You chose with blind flawless vision
Stared with imaginary possibilities
Still following your instinct
You chased me with unsure truth
Leaving me standing
Raw and Naked
Strong and willing
To chase your dancing
Clear sky
Not afraid to follow
I kiss the wind
As I drift nearer
To you
Pondering my flight
To our private destiny
Built on your spiritual Intuition
I leave trails of tears
Stretched across the crowded sky
Streaming waterfalls of joy
Dripping in my deserted heart
And I have found you
Wrapped in silk peddled flowers
Perfumed with your sweet scent
Of pure fresh emotions
Listening to your vocal fantasies
About love
Realizing they have become
My own secret desires
The breathe of passion
Rendering like smoke signals
In the air
As I smell the vision
To love

Poetry Vineyard

I love poetry
I lives in my soul
With a bold
Words of stories
Untold
I love poetry
From the verbs
To the nouns
To the rhythm
The melody
Can you hear
The sounds
I love poetry
The black and white
Of your silhouette
A love song in the night
That I had never met
I love poetry
From beginning to end
It gives me courage to fight
My weapon is my pen
I don't need a gun
The ink create the sun
My pen is quiet
And
Knowing
As my flesh breathe
Of the rainbow glowing
I love poetry
From beginning
And the middle
In the end
It's a rhyme
To a riddle
To a cry
Sometimes I
Giggle
With
Metaphors and Matadors
From happiness to burdens
Take a bow pull the curtains
I love it all
Let's applaud
Cause in the end
We all win
With stain of my pen
I love poetry
