I love my dad.
Or is it I'm in love with my hero dad. He has always seem to know the right things to say and do. Deciding to spend my vacation with him and his wife was one of my better decisions in a long time. It's been a long time since I have seen him and spent this much time with him since I was an early teen. I always tell my parents if I had come back to another life I would chose them both again. My dad is a man among men. I'm not just saying that because he is my dad but his action over the last 52 years of my life has proven that to me. I know I'm not the best daughter but I will try from this point to be a better daughter. I can't really put my feelings into words about how special he and his wife have made me feel since I have arrived here to their home in Texas. But the one thing I can truely see in my father's eyes when he looks at me is LOVE. And for me that's all I need.
He is my friend, my Dad and my Hero.
It's couldn't get any better than that.
Thought I might write this note just to share I am grateful for them even when I take him for granted.
I love you Dad.
Deborah
