I Stand

I am a humanitarian first and always. 

To take a life is wrong on every level, whether it be at the hands of anyone.

Black on black or otherwise at the hands of some other race.

I value people and all living things. 

We as a society have become barbaric in our thinking and doings. 

I am but a grain of sand on the beach trying to find my spot like everyone else. 

There is room for all. 

Let us share in this life and this country called the land of the free and home of the brave. 

I stand for freedom to be here or I can die as a sacrifice for it. 

Either way I still stand.
