Color You

Color You

This blank white piece of paper
Begin empty
But as I think of you
It seems to be filled
Colors
As I stroke this pen.
I color you yellow
Like the peddles
Of bonsai tree
I color you blue
Oh it's true
While I whisper
The words
I love you
I color you
Green
As I sing
Your love is
Brighter than a day in spring
I color you
Black
While we lay back
To stare at the moon
I color you
Red
Emotionally fed
Completely full
From toe to head
I color you
Purple
Turning in circles
Love spinning
In time
As I colored this paper
Can you smell the vapors
The pleasure's all mine
I colored you
Pink
Your love makes
Me ink
From black to green
Back to red then to blue
All these colors
Simply say
I love you
