Why does thy heart cry a thousand tears of losing
The one that no longer loves me
You have shamed my soul of the emptiness it
Now holds
While my hand bleeds to embrace the love it once held so
Closely our breathing became even as we enjoyed the air
Share in our oneness together
My sleep no longer is peaceful without your pillow whispers.
Emotions broken and numb from the unspoken silent in my wind
Without you I am blind to all the beauty that lives upon the earth
I awake lifeless in my thoughts only a rare moments of remembering
What my life was like when you were here beside me
Who will love me now, says my heart?
Thy heart is scattered, torn and bruised as it wonders about
In the darkness of the dessert valley now known as my soul
As I sit I can smell my ugly sorrow circling my body like a sand storm.
My choice of my love seem to have been stripped from my reach
As I begin this journey without the one who gave me thy joy
Courage shall be my guide while I stumble to find acceptance between
the creases of your torn departure. My emotions shall recover to a new
Found interest, but my heart shall always belong to you.
Why does thy heart cry a thousand tears of losing
The one that no longer loves me
