Sleep seems elusive
while the moon screams
hello to my thoughts
As I wrestle for comfort
You created a song to my heart
Warming me with your laughter
Of yesterday's I love you
Cuddle my emotional unrest
With kisses of today's assurances
Let the twinkle in the stars reflect
The years I promise to dedicate
To giving light to this love
Quiet is the night as my heart
Sings early morning whispers
As pretty birds fly
The sky cannot deny your
Beautiful face as it shines
With the sunrise
Sleep escapes my lullaby
Sweeping tears down my
Clouded eyes
