Wonder
I stared with wonder
at the beauty you hold within your blue black creamed stained statue.
You stand tall in balance with roots planted as the world mimics you
Tainted copies in unfolded dreams
With flattered filled hate
Hidden sheets to castrate
The skin of a race
And I wonder
How you courageously carry face with pride
I am in love with the blue of you repainting I can reach the sky
I am Love with your blackness symbolizing you are the beginning of these regal shaded men people admirers and secretly aspire to become
As they hate and debate with dehumanizing rants of memories
Of whitewashing lies in series
To discount your history
Is still a mystery
And I wonder how
You stand resilient
And Bold
In extreme
To demean
The man
Of a king
As you brilliantly shine
With hope's devine
By written design
I wonder
How long
How you stay right
When the world says you're wrong
You remain strong
Through it all
You're my thunder
My partner for life
Onyx to my soul
My heaven on earth
Inca of truth
My Wonder
