On the outside 

within

Is where it begins

With the seed

That turns to sand

And

The sand

Turns to dirt

And 

The dirt

Turns to coal

And coal

Turns to diamonds

And you sparkle

The shine

And glow

And 

I sit outside you

As 

You marinate in my soul
