Love Letter

Dearest Love

I have written this letter over and over trying to make it perfect. Trying to express my thoughts and heart to you. I must admit I'm scared, but my love for you demands I commit me to you in truth as I know it to be in the present.
I need to tell you how perfectly beautiful you are. Somehow beautiful seems inadequate as if any word I choose could describe the light that shines from you.
I want to let you know I have become better because of you. I don't know how, but I can feel it in my thoughts and actions. Everything about me is different since you've entered my life. And it's because of you. I wrote this letter knowing I needed to give you my nakedness. You know, that part of me only God can see. The part sometimes even I don't know exist, yet it's there making an appearance for you.
I wrote this letter hoping it will reveal how much it truly love you.
I want this letter to be the hug I forget to give you when you need it
I want this letter to romance your thoughts when I am preoccupied with worldly matters
I want this letter to kiss your tears away and bring a new rainbow to heal your fears and troubles I cannot.
I want this letter to remember our favorite song when we disagree and stand in our corners pouting and waiting for each other to apologize.
I want the letter to bring you beautiful Bouquets of flowers when tornadoes appear to be on the destructive path of me loving you.
Let me say I apologize now for the mistakes and disappointments my humanness will bring you consciously and unconsciously.  Let me wipe your tears with my every word I write upon this letter.  I stand next to you willing and ready to give you my complete all.
Let me end this letter with me saying you are my favorite night and my perfect day. My summer breeze in my morning tea and I become weak and strong with every passing moment with you.
Let this letter speak the assurance of my heart.
