What is love if it's not us
erased writings appear on the wall
as you read these lines
may you find my heart
lying in gray after the alpenglow has gone
if it isn't love
why does thy heart cry
a thousand tears
competing with the rain
when the rainbow
never appears
leaving me with liefdesverdriet
bleeding words my soul
refused to reply
wrapped with bandages
yet
still leaking
as the wind carries my love
with a whisper
we say our last
goodbye
