Eventually Naked

Eventually Naked

Eventually reality hits
Saying
Loving you was never any good
As I stare with blurry vision
You walking with your new love
Eventually reality
Screams
Wake up to the past
Our love was a season
As winter turns to spring
I wished you well
From spring to summer
Eventually
I take solace in knowing
Our Love was a garment you wore
to be discarded
When a new trend begin
Leaving me
Balled up and wrinkled
In the back of the closet
Never to be adorned by your
Fashionable emotions again
Eventually
I outgrew your suntan
My skin craved from
The sun I loved in you
Eventually
The Nightmare of you
Became
The afterglow shining
Between the shaded trees
As it erased my memory
Of you
At sunset
Eventually
I moved in
Different contrast
Between erupting volcanoes
And
Calming seas
But
Eventually
I learn to wear me
Naked and alone
Eventually

The Box

(This Is Not Love)
The Box

I'm living in a box
Just outside the box
Within a box
Am I really free
To be me
And explore
What you choose
To ignore
In the air
In the space
You try to erase
Your fears
Of what appears
To reek
Of genocides
And
Alibis
Living in a box
Outside the box
Within the box
Of this hell
That I smell
From the stench
Of your scent
You created
Of raped
And masturbated
Dreams
Outside in the breeze
You disease
And sneeze
And spewed
Lies and residue
covering
Spreading
Infecting
The life
As you bites
And
Claw
Your way inside
Around the steel
I built outside my box
Where I live inside the box
Just outside the box
In a box
Where it first began
With my paper and pen
I color you
Pointless
Until the bitter end
Laughing and screaming
You can never win

Private Thoughts

Private Thoughts

My thoughts are to loud
To speak
So
I tattoo my words
Quietly
Across your lips
Leaving
Pasteled morsels
Slowly
Dripping
And stained
In your intimate domain

It is what it is ( Poetry Challenge)

( It is what it is )

It is what it is
And that was the cost
When love left with the wind
Our love was lost
It is what it is
Memories sealed in frames
Yesterday's forgotten happiness
Today reality ripped in pain
It is what it is
That's what it will be
When wings of love are broken
Becomes the end
Of you and me
It is what it is
It was what it was
Dreams dissipate
When there is no love

Side Note

Could you feel me if I thought about you?
Can you hear me as I whisper your name?
Can you see me when I dream?
When you touch the rain do you recognize my touch ?
Tattooing your name across my heart
From the start
With each little part
Of my soul resting with you
Do you feel me
Dying inside
While I hide
In your aroma
Your invisible coma
Sleeping between the wind
And your heavenly clouds
Could you feel me if I thought about you
Out loud
Could you?

Private Thoughts

My spirit is exhausted and tired
Sleep seems elusive with thoughts running rampant through my mind
Catching me in lost stares
As I blindly glaze at purple walls
blocking my plans of unimaginable
Dreams.
I'm broken

Side Note

I wanna feel the comfort within
The heartbeat of your own
Pulse humming the melody of me
Loving you endlessly forever
Against the sunset peeling
Beautiful days into magical night
I wanna feel the comfort within
The air
As it cools my inhales breeze of you
Flowing in my mind
While I float freely from the clouds
To the sea
Of you
And me
Till we cease to be here
Yet
Forever belong to the atmosphere
I wanna feel the comfort within
